Resources for Recovery was founded in 2015. R4R Kids is Dedicated to serving children of addicted parents.  If a child has lost a parents to overdose or has a parent in active addiction, the guardian can apply here for help.  R4R Kids help kids be kids regardless of their circumstance. They have helped several children in the New England area by helping with dance lessons, hockey equipment, school supplies and Christmas.

People who have been on a spiritual journey for decades, people who have been kicked around by religion. In this community, no matter where you are, we don’t do shame. You belong here.

Colorado Artists in Recovery (CAIR) utilizes recovery-oriented principles to provide a safe, encouraging, and inclusive environment for people affected by substance use and mental health. Through their workshops and events they nurture people’s creative expression and help them create meaningful connection. ART is creation and creation is HEALING. Here at Recovery Elevator we ❤️ using art as a way to heal.

The WaterWheel Foundation was created by Phish in 1997 to oversee the band’s charitable endeavors. The Foundation raises money primarily through its Touring Division, partnering with local non-profits in communities Phish visits on tour and with national organizations during times of need. The Foundation has donated millions of dollars to hundreds of non-profits. The Divided Sky Foundation will focus on delivering quality care and compassionate treatment for those affected from alcoholism and addiction.

Founded in 2004, The McShin Foundation is Virginia’s leading non-profit, full-service Recovery Community Organization (RCO), committed to serving individuals and families in their fight against Substance Use Disorders. While providing the tools for recovering individuals to create positive lifestyles, we aim to spread the word of recovery and educate families, communities, and government regarding SUDs as well as reduce the stigma attached to them. McShin is the only RCO in Virginia accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Peer Recovery Support Services (CAPRSS).

OurLand was founded in 2015 as one of Thailand’s first privately managed wildlife reserves. OurLand operates as an ecovillage and education center where we monitor wildlife, test nature integrated living strategies, and bring conscious tourists and educational groups to learn about sustainability and the environment. Recovery Elevator visited the Ourland headquarters in January 2021 on a sober travel trip and we’re thrilled to have helped their mission with our donation.

Cycle for Recovery is a registered 501(c)(3) Charitable Organization that provides financial assistance to individuals seeking a chance at recovery from addiction and mental health disorders. Our funds come entirely from the donations of generous community members, who can choose to donate online or at one of our charity cycling events.

Peruvian Hearts works to end poverty and gender inequality by educating young women and creating community leaders in Peru—one girl at a time. In 2018, Recovery Elevator visited Cusco and the Sacred Valley in Peru, to help improve living conditions for some of the women that Peruvian Hearts works with. We learned that nearly all the girls in the Peruvian Hearts have a member in the household that is dealing with alcoholism or some sort of addiction.
